Trial of the Challenger

Many Warriors seek the challenger's mark as proof of their valor. A conspiracy of darkness surrounds the mark.

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Kash (Dion).
  2. Kill the Quest Monster Shyslassys to collect
    Icon Item Scroll of Shyslassys
    Scroll of Shyslassys     and
    Icon Item Broken Key
    Broken Key    . Shyslassys and her six pet Cave Basilisks can be found behind the waterfall between Elf and Dark Elf town.
  3. Use the
    Icon Item Broken Key
    Broken Key     to open the Chest Of Shyslassys.
  4. Talk to Kash.
  5. Talk to Martien (Giran). By l2hub
  7. Talk to Martien.
  9. Talk to Champion Raldo who appeared there.
  10. Talk to Gray Pillar's Filaur (Dwarven Village). By l2hub
  11. To continue, you must be level 36.
  12. Kill to Quest Monster Succubus Queen (In the deepest part of the Mithril mines).

Steps from the game client

  1. Cave of the Shyslassys
    Kash says that anyone who wants to get the mark of challenger should enter the cave behind the Undine Waterfall in the northern part of the Neutral Zone, destroy Shyslassys and retrieve an old parchment. Monster to Hunt - The Shylassys
  2. Return to Kash
    You've defeated Shyslassys and retrieved the parchment. Take it to Kash.
  3. In search of Martien
    Kash tells you to get the mark of challenger from Martien in Giran Castle Town.
  4. Defeat Gorr
    Martien says that he will give you the mark of challenger if you defeat an evil spirit known as Gorr that haunts the area around Floran Village.
  5. Return to Martien
    You defeated Gorr and taken the mark of the watcher's eye. Now return to Martien for the mark of challenger.
  6. Defeat Baraham
    Gorr's defeat has not made the people of Floran Village any safer. They're now threatened by another evil creature. Find and destroy Baraham in the caves near Gorr's lair. Monster to Hunt - Baraham
  7. Raldo
    You've defeated Baraham. Who is this mysterious stranger?
  8. The Final Magic Force Field
    Champion Raldo warns of an evil that will be resurrected unless a magic force field is protected. Speak with Gray Pillar's Filaur in Dwarven Village and ask him where the last magic force field is.
  9. Protect the Magic Force Field
    There's an evil energy in the deepest part of the Mithril Mines and the magic force field is threatened. Why is there earth wyrm blood everywhere? Could that Succubus Queen be their leader? Monster to Hunt - Succubus Queen
  10. Raldo's Reappearance
    At the death of the Succubus Queen, Raldo reappears. Speak with him.
