Lore: Humans
In the world of Elmoraden, a human begins their journey on the Talking Island. In ancient times, when elves and orcs were fighting for dominance over the continent, this place resembled a military facility built by the elves to secretly train human wizards in magic, so they would fight on the elves’ side against the orcs. Remnants of elven architecture can still be found at the Victory Obelisk, erected in honor of the joint victory of humans and elves over the orcs, and in the elven ruins that were once a school where humans learned magic under the elves’ guidance. But when a war broke out between elves and humans, the school was abandoned, and the few surviving elves left the island and returned to their forests. The region’s center remains Talking Island Village, where, as in the distant past, people flock to learn magic or military arts.
Warrior players begin their journey as graduates of Cedric's Training Hall. The school’s founder, Grand MasterSedrick, is a famous paladin who once served under King Raoul the Unifier and was considered his right hand, now retiring. After Raoul’s death, he built the school to train young knights with pure hearts. But recently, Grand MasterSedrick has had health issues and is currently residing in Town of Aden. The school is now run by his nephew, Grand MasterRoien.

Mystic players start as graduates of the magic school Einhovant's School of Magic. Wizards who opposed the elitism of the Ivory Tower came to the island under the leadership of the wizard Einhovant and founded a magical institution independent of the tower. The school attracted young people with great potential but limited by social status and financial barriers, becoming the primary place for nurturing aspiring wizards. The Ivory Tower mages disapproved of this school’s existence and tried several times to get rid of the island’s wizards, but failed due to an immense unknown force. The current headmaster is Grand MagisterGallint, one of Hardin’s students.

No one besides Grand MagisterGallint has ever seen Einhovant, and many doubt whether he even exists. There are two main storylines on the Talking Island that most quests are based on. One is the settlement of the island by refugees after the war with Gracia and the recent mysterious storm that brought much destruction and led to the wreck of a smuggling ship from Gracia. As players explore the island, they can also uncover the story of the war with Beleth and the omen of his imminent return. By order of Sir Collin Windawood, the island’s north is being cleared of monsters so that settlers from war-ravaged migration villages in the Gludio Castle Town region can cultivate the land.

The second storyline featured in several quests involves an unusual storm that occurred a few days before the game begins. The storm damaged the temple roof, and the player gathers stones from golems to repair it. During the storm, the magical barrier maintained by Grand MagisterGallint to protect the school also collapsed. As a result, mirror spirits being studied by Grand MagisterGallint escaped from the school. Later, Grand MagisterGallint restores the barrier while the player captures the spirits.

The storm also destroyed parts of the Cedric's Training Hall. Because of the storm, merchant ships heading to Giran Castle Town were wrecked in the area. Some islanders believe this happened because people started believing in the religion of Einhasad and stopped making offerings to the goddess Shilen, who, they say, rules the seas. Lighthouse KeeperRockswell and Wharf ManagerFiron continue this ceremony annually, but this year they couldn’t perform it, as the newly appointed island priest disapproved. A smuggler reveals that a boat carrying smuggled Adamantite Ore , secretly imported by a dwarf warehouse worker from the Gracian region of Cardiff, crashed near the island.

The storm coincides with nightmares experienced by High PriestBiotin, and the two events may be connected. At High PriestBiotin’s request, the player investigates the cause of the nightmares and travels to the Elven Ruins, where they defeat Quest MonsterNerkas, who in his lines glorifies Beleth. High PriestBiotin is convinced that the appearance of Quest MonsterNerkas heralds a great disaster. After settling on the Talking Island, the player ventures to the mainland to find their place in the vast world.
