Hardin, an expert of Necromancy, has recently discovered a way to polymorph the appearance of various life forms. He continues his research in hopes of perfecting the process. He is looking for a strong adventurer to help him with the test.
Walkthrough
- Talk to Hardin (Hardin's Academy).
- Talk to MagisterErrickin (Hunter's Village).
- Go to Forest of Mirrors. Hunt the following monsters:
- Forest of Mirrors Ghost Collect
Ectoplasm x35.
- Return to MagisterErrickin for the stabilized ectoplasm and bring it to Hardin. You will receive
ORDER . - Talk to MagisterClayton (Town of Dion).
- Go to Plains of Dion. Hunt Glass Jaguar until you collect
Mordeo Crystal x5. - Return to MagisterClayton, and then back to Hardin for your final reward:
Transform Sealbook - Onyx Beast x1 — transformation spellbook.

Steps from the game client
- Hardin's ResearchHardin, a Necromancer Grand Master heavily involved in researching Necromancy Magics, has discovered polymorph magic, the ability to transform someone's appearance. However, he is having difficulty stabilizing the soul of the subject of the magic. Listen to his story and find a way to help.
- Stabilized EctoplasmTo create a structure appropriate for the polymorphed soul, Hardin requires Stabilized Ectoplasm. It can be obtained from Dark Elf Magister Errickin in Hunters Village. Go find him.
- EctoplasmIn order to produce Stabilized Ectoplasm, ectoplasm is obviously required. Ectoplasm can be obtained from the Mirrors and Forest of Mirrors Ghosts in the Forest of Mirrors. Collect the 35 Ectoplasms needed by Errickin. Monsters to Hunt: Forest of Mirrors Ghost, MirrorItems:Ectoplasm x35
- Ectoplasm Collection CompleteYou have collected the 35 Ectoplasms needed. Return to Errickin in Hunters Village.
- Stabilized Ectoplasm AcquiredYou have obtained Stabilized Ectoplasm from Errickin. Return to Hardin's Academy and give them to Hardin to continue his research.
- Blank StationeryAccording to Hardin, polymorph information must be engraved on the polymorpher. Blank Stationery is required in order to transfer information about Hardin's polymorph magic energy and engrave the polymorpher. Find Magister Clayton in Dion Town to obtain the Blank Stationery.
- Mordeo CrystalAccording to Magister Clayton, it will require 5 Mordeo Crystals to make Blank Stationery as Hardin has requested. You can obtain Mordeo Crystals from Mordeo who live on the first floor of Cruma Tower. Monsters to Hunt: MordeoItems:Mordeo Crystal x5
- Collection of Mordeo Crystals CompletedAll the necessary Mordeo Crystals have been collected. Give them to Magister Clayton.
