Searchers find things which are hidden. To obtain the mark of the searcher, speak with Alex in Floran Village. He was once known as the best scout in the kingdom!
Walkthrough
- Talk to MasterLuther in Hunter's Village, then to CaptainAlex in Floran Village and MilitiamanLeirynn west of the village.
- Hunt Delu Lizardman Shaman for
Delu Totem x10. Return to MilitiamanLeirynn, then kill Quest MonsterDelu Chief Kalkis and receive 
Chief Kalki's Fang and 
Strange Map . - Return to MilitiamanLeirynn, then to CaptainAlex. Talk to DrunkardBorys in Gludio and Tyra at the Spider Nest.
- Hunt Giant Fungus in the Sea of Spores for
Red Spore Dust x10. Return to Tyra, then to DrunkardBorys. - Talk to BodyguardJax near the southern entrance to the Wasteland.
- Hunt Hangman Tree for
2nd Torn Map Piece x4 and Road Scavenger for 1st Torn Map Piece x4. Return to BodyguardJax and receive 
Combined Map . - Examine Tree on the hill between Dion and Floran Village and receive
Rusted Key . Open the nearby Strong Wooden Chest and receive 
Gold Bar x20. - Return to CaptainAlex, then to MasterLuther and receive the reward:

- A Suspicious MapYou've defeated Kalkis. He has a suspicious map, doesn't he? Return to Leirynn and find out more about it.
- Report to Captain AlexLeirynn doesn't know what the map is for and asks you to take it to Captain Alex.
- Search For the Lost Gold BarsThe map shows the location of forgotten gold bars left behind by a general of the Lord's royal guards! Visit Borys in the Town of Gludio who was a royal guard at that time.
- Loosen the Drunkard's LipsBorys isn't going to say a word unless you bring him the best malrukian wine that Tyra can find.
- Red Spore DustTyra is willing to exchange the wine for 10 pouches of red spore dust. You can get red spore dust from the giant fungus at the Sea of Spores!Items:Red Spore Dust x10
- Return to TyraYou've obtained 10 pouches of red spore dust. Take them to Tyra and trade them for malrukian wine.
- A Happy DrunkardTake the malrukian wine to Borys and get the information!
- The Gold ThiefThe four royal guards conspired together to conceal the lord's gold. One of them is a man whose name is Jax. He must be protecting merchant convoys in the southern section of the Wastelands. Let's go find him!

- The Treasure's LocationAs you piece together the 4 parts of the map, a coordinate appears. Go there!
- A Treasure BoxYou've discovered a rusty box and a key. Can you open it?
- The Gold Bars Are Discovered!You've discovered 20 gold bars in the rusty box! Take them to Alex right away!
- Alex's Letter of RecommendationAlex writes you a letter of recommendation to give to Master Luther. Take it to him now!
