Path to an Artisan

Dwarven Artisans are consummate craftsmen. They must pass tests from three blacksmiths.

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to BlacksmithSilvera in the Dwarven Village Blacksmith Shop and receive Icon Item Silvera's RingSilvera's Ring .
  2. In the Abandoned Coal Mines, hunt Boogle Ratman and Boogle Ratman Leader until you collect Icon Item Boogle Ratman ToothBoogle Ratman Tooth x10 and Icon Item Boogle Ratman Leader's ToothBoogle Ratman Leader's Tooth x2.
  3. Return to BlacksmithSilvera, choose Gludio and receive Icon Item 1st Pass Certificate1st Pass Certificate .
  4. Talk to BlacksmithKluto in the Gludin Blacksmith Shop and receive Icon Item Kluto's LetterKluto's Letter .
  5. Talk to BlacksmithPinter in Gludio and receive Icon Item Footprint of ThiefFootprint of Thief .
  6. On Windmill Hill, kill Vuku Orc Fighter and collect Icon Item Stolen Secret BoxStolen Secret Box .
  7. Return to BlacksmithPinter and receive Icon Item Secret BoxSecret Box .
  8. Return to BlacksmithKluto. Choose the first answer, "Now, what was I going to do with these? I have no idea," and receive the reward:
Characters above level 26 do not receive EXP. Take Icon Item Final Pass CertificateFinal Pass Certificate to Head BlacksmithTapoy to become an Icon Class ArtisanArtisan.

Steps from the game client

  1. The First Blacksmith Test
    Quest that must be fulfilled to change occupation to Artisan. The Dwarf Village Blacksmith Silvery tells you that to become an Artisan you must receive recognition from three Blacksmiths that have been Artisans for a long time. He asks you to go to the Abandoned Coal Mines and obtain 10 boogle ratman teeth and two boogle ratman leader's big teeth.
  2. Return to Silvery
    You have collected all the teeth of Ratmen. Take them to Blacksmith Silvera.
  3. The Second Blacksmith Test
    In order to take the second test, you must visit Blacksmith Kluto. You can find him at the blacksmith's shop in Gludin Village.
  4. Errant to Pinter
    Take the letter you received from Blacksmith Kluto Blacksmith Pinter in the Town of Gludio.
  5. Missing Box
    The item that Blacksmith Kluto commissioned from Blacksmith Pinter has been stolen by a Vuku Orc fighter. Find the culprit and recover the stolen secret box. The thief can be found on Windmill Hill south of Gludin Village. Monster to hunt: Vuku Orc fighter.
  6. Return to Blacksmith Pinter
    You have recovered the box. Return it to Blacksmith Pinter of the Town of Gludio.
  7. What is the Blacksmith's Test...?
    Blacksmith Pinter rewards you with a 2nd Pass Certificate. Take the secret box to Blacksmith Kluto.
  8. Railroad Worker Obi
    In order to take the second test, you must first meet with Railroad Worker Obi who is on the Plunderous Plains. Go see him.
  9. Solidarity of the Dwarves
    Railroad Worker Obi tells you a story about the Solidarity of Dwarves. He asks you to relay the story that can potentially disrupt the dwarves' loyalty to Mineral Trader Hitch in the Town of Schuttgart. What do you think you should do?
  10. A Thoughtless Person
    Lockirin of Dwarven Village will instruct you on your next task.
  11. Message Delivered
    Mineral Trader Hitch tells you to go back and visit Obi once more. Go see him.
  12. A Shrewd Response
    When you relay the message to him, Mineral Trader Hitch tells you to go see Rydel.
