Shadow Fox I

The Temple has asked the legendary information dealer, Shadow Fox, for help with finding the Fallen Angel. But Shadow Fox won't meet with just anybody. Speak to Warehouse Keeper Mia in Heine about the necessary qualifications. (Reward penalty applied if you are 6 or more levels higher than the quest level).

Quest Walkthrough

Talk to Mia in the town of Heine (warehouse).
Head to the Field of Silence and hunt:
- Tasaba Lizardman (Lv 36)
- Tasaba Lizardman Shaman (Lv 37)
From them, collect:
- Records Chest
- Records Chest Key Fragment
In the Gracia Epilogue update, these monsters are now found in Alligator Beach.
You can farm an unlimited number of quest items if you're leveling in the area. However, to complete the quest, you only need:
- 1 Records Chest
- 10 Records Chest Key Fragments
Note: Mia can fail to open the chest, in which case you’ll need to bring her another full set. It’s recommended to farm at least a double set in advance.
Return to Mia, receive your reward, and unlock the next quest: Shadow Fox - 2 (Path of the Lord – Aden).

Note

XP and SP rewards may decrease depending on your character's level.
The reward also scales based on how many quest items you submit.
The minimum reward is:
- 14,500 Adena If you turn in only 1 Records Chest and 10 Key Fragments.

Contact Qualification
Shadow Fox has information about the angel mentioned by High Priest Sylvain, but it appears you are not qualified to meet with him. Speak to Warehouse Keeper Mia, who knows Shadow Fox well.
Find the Records Chest
You must help Warehouse Keeper Mia before you can meet with Shadow Fox. Eliminate Tasaba Lizardmen in the Field of Silence to collect a Records Chest, and fragments of the Records Chest key. You need to find at least 1 Records Chest, and at least 10 Records Chesst Key Fragments. Monsters to Hunt - Tasaba Lizardmen, Tasaba Lizardman Shaman
