Secret Buried in the Swamp
Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force asks you to find a researcher who went missing while he was exploring for relics of an ancient empire that lay hidden in the Swamp of Screams.
Walkthrough
- Talk to Mercenary SupplierAbercrombie (Mercenary Checkpoint, Swamp of Screams).
- Go to the center of the swamp and find Corpse of Dwarf in a toxic pool. Inspect it to get
Krorin's Journal . - Return to Mercenary SupplierAbercrombie. He will ask you to continue the research.
- Visit 4 monuments (Slates) in the swamp. Be careful: when you enter the toxic water, guards will spawn. Visit them in order:
- Forgotten Monument (West)
- Forgotten Monument (South)
- Forgotten Monument (North)
- Forgotten Monument (East)
- After inspecting the fourth monument, the research will be complete.
- Return to Mercenary SupplierAbercrombie to finish the quest and get the reward:

Steps from the game client
- Search for Researcher Krorin!Find the whereabouts of Researcher Krorin, who disappeared while investigating the Swamp of Screams. Also recover Krorin's research journal containing information about the monument of the ancients that Krorin uncovered through his investigation.
- Take the journal to Abercrombie!Take the research journal you recovered from Researcher Krorin and take it to Abercrombie who is in the Barracks of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force.Items:Krorin's Journal x1
- Find the forgotten monument!Continue Krorin's investigation of the ancient stone tablet. From his journal, you've found the first monument. Now, find the second one.
- Find the second monument!Go to the location indicated by the diagram engraved on the surface of the stone tablet to find the second monument.
- Find the third monument!Go to the location indicated by the geometrical figures engraved on the surface of the stone tablet to find the third monument.
- Find the fourth monument!By analyzing the map engraved on the surface of the stone tablet, you know where the next monument is located. Go there and find it.
- Return to Abercrombie!Return to Mercenary Supplier Abercrombie in the barracks of the Golden Ram Mercenary Force and let him know about the four monuments.
